Retro Apartments Policies

To ensure the safe and peaceful stay of Guests in our apartments we have prepared the following Policies

§1 Scope of the Policies

  1. These Policies regulate liability of the parties as well as the manner of provision of services and stay at Apartamenty Retro and constitute an integral part of the Contract.
  2. The Contract is concluded by making a booking (phone, e-mail or online) payment of a deposit or the whole amount due for the stay.
  3. By concluding the Contract, the Guest acknowledges that they have read and accepted these Policies.
  4. The Policies apply to all Guests of Apartamenty Retro.
  5. The Policies can be found in every apartment and on our website www.apartament.poznan.pl

§2 Check-in and check-out

  1. Apartamenty Retro apartments are rented at a daily rate. The check-in time is 14.00 and the check-out time 11.00 the following morning. Late check-out should be requested on the date of arrival. This benefit will be granted subject to availability.
  2. The apartment can be used only upon the check-in procedure completion, i.e. upon presentation of the national identity card or passport and payment of the full cost of the stay.
  3. Apartamenty Retro can refuse to accept a Guest who infringed on Apartamenty Retro Rules during a previous stay, harmed any item of Apartamenty Retro property, any item of Apartamenty Retro’s Guests’ property, any of Apartamenty Retro’s Guests, any of Apartamenty Retro’s employees or in any other manner disrupted Apartamenty Retro’s operations.
  4. On leaving, the Guest is requested to return the key to an agreed place.

§3 Conditions of usage of the apartment

  1. The Guest cannot assign, sublease or make the apartment available to a third party without written consent of the owner of Apartamenty Retro.
  2. No noise is allowed on the premises at night between 22.00 and 07.00.
  3. Persons visiting our registered Guests are only permitted until 22.00. The registered Guest is responsible for all their visitors.
  4. The Guest is fully responsible for their own property left in the apartment, the property of Apartamenty Retro and for any damage done by their visitors.
  5. On leaving the apartment, the Guest is obliged to make sure the lights are off, the water has been turned off and the door and the windows have been locked.
  6. Animals are not allowed in the apartments.
  7. No smoking is allowed in Apartamenty Retro building. A designated area for smokers is located in the car park behind the building. There is a non-smoking violation fee of 200 PLN.
  8. Recording or using any image of the apartments for commercial purposes shall be forbidden unless the owner of Apartamenty Retro has granted consent.

§4 Guest’s liability

  1. The Guest is liable for damage or breakage of the furnishings or equipment in the apartment, even if such damage or breakage was not intentional.
  2. The Guest shall promptly inform an employee of Apartamenty Retro about any damage to the furnishings/objects in the apartment and promptly report any other irregularity.
  3. Apartamenty Retro is not liable for damage or loss of Guest’s items.
  4. Items left behind by the Guest in the apartment will be stored for 3 months. After that time, they will be disposed of.

§5 Additional charges

  1. In the event of a violation of these Policies, the Guest will be charged with an additional charge. The charges (including VAT) are as follows:
    • a) additional cleaning: 150 PLN
    • b) lost key: 100 PLN
    • c) lost/stolen towel: 30 PLN (small towel), 40 PLN (bath towel), 35 PLN (floor towel)
    • d) damaged bed linen: duvet 60 PLN, sheet 60 PLN, pillow case 20 PLN, throw pillow case 20 PLN.
  2. In case of any breach of the Policies by the Guest, Apartamenty Retro will impose the extra charge on the Guest within 7 days from the day of becoming aware of the damage.
